Hey everyone, I posted up all the questions you listed here to the Leaky Lounge, the TLC forum where Melissa is taking questions to ask Jo. You can find all of them here. If I've left out any question you've asked here already, please let me know and I'll go straight to the forum and edit to add. So what do you lot think of the list thusfar?

Also, I managed to think up a fourth and fifth batch of questions to ask Jo, which can be found below. I swear something new just keeps popping to mind. :)

-- How did James and Lily thrice defy Voldemort?

-- Why did James and Lily name Harry 'Harry'? Like any parents who want to name their children for whatever reason, do you have one as to why they named him that? Just curious.

-- Where did James, Lily, Remus, and Snape grow up? What towns did they live in while growing up and where are their families from?

-- How did the Marauders become friends? Was it straight on the train to Hogwarts the first day like for Harry or Ron, or was it some other way?

-- Why was Crookshanks so difficult to sell before Hermione came along in PoA? Does he have some sort of significant history?

-- Seeing that the Dursleys hate to buy Harry anything, and end up giving him Dudley's hand-me-downs, how on earth did he convince them to get his glasses and when did he get them?

-- I know that Sirius must have been close to baby Harry before James and Lily died seeing that he was his godfather and there for Harry's christening, but how close were Remus and Peter to him, as well as to James and Lily? Did they hang around a lot, babysit Harry often, etc?

-- Zacharias Smith seems like a rather interesting character, and since he's one of the more prominent members of the DA, I can't help but to wonder - does he play a bigger role in the last two books, and how, if you can give us a hint?

-- Lockhart said in CoS that he was able to use the Homorphus Hex/Charm/Curse (I forget which one it was) to turn a werewolf back to human form and apparently 'cure' him, and it is stated that although Lockhart was lying about doing it himself, he did get the information from other wizards who HAD done it, so the question here is, is this spell to alter a werewolf real and can it be used to 'cure' other werewolves, such as Remus?

-- The Pensieve and Riddle's diary seem to have a few things in common, the main one being that a person can go and retrieve other people's memories if they were to either 'speak' to it or to physical go into the object. Are they both charmed with the same spells or use the same potions to acquire such a gift, and are there other objects that can also be 'charmed' to keep memories? If so, will Harry see some and any hint as to whose memories he would see?

-- Did Lily Potter, Remus Lupin, Severus Snape, and Peter Pettigrew have jobs after they left Hogwarts? If so, what were they and could you tell us a bit as to WHY they chose those careers?

-- So many people have asked this question from what I've seen, so I have to ask. Are there seventh year prefects as well as a Head Boy and Girl, or is there only the Head Boy and Girl as the seventh year reps and fifth and sixth year prefects (and no seventh year prefects)?

-- Out of the six books you've written so far, do you have a favourite chapter overall? Do you have a favourite chapter for each book? Which ones and why?
